Using a centuries-old recipe, Dewey's bakers combine full flavor vanilla with the finest ingredients, such as finely milled wheat flour and whole eggs, to create their uniquely thin and flavorful Sugar Moravian Cookies.
Dewey's Bakery was founded in downtown Winston-Salem, NC during The Great Depression. They became known for their thin, crisp Moravian Cookies, originally created by immigrants who journeyed to Winston-Salem in the 1700’s from the European kingdom of Moravia.
