This extra virgin olive oil is cold-extracted from 100% Nocellara del Belice variety olives hand-harvested in Western Sicily. This medium intensity oil is well balanced with exceptional fruitiness, medium bitterness, and notable pungency. The flavor is spicy and herbal with considerable fresh, herbaceous, green apple, mint, cinnamon, and grassy flavors. The finish is pleasant black pepper with a chili pepper zing. Perfetto!
It is perfect for salmon carpaccio, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled white meats and fish.
