The Moravian Sugar Cake has a rich history dating back hundreds of years in Winston-Salem, NC. Dewey's Bakery has been baking this cake the traditional way since the 1930's- Butter,cinnamon, pure cane sugar and yeasted dough combine for a delightfu holiday treat. Each batch is handmade and takes over 4 hours to create!
*We store our Sugar Cake in the freezer until purchase. Please eat within 3 days or freeze until ready to eat or give as a gift. Don't forget to heat before serving for the best flavor!
